Outdoor shades use special materials that are especially durable and resist fading. Support structures are treated to resist rust and corrosion and many are made of completely rust-proof materials. Mechanisms that control outdoor shade panels are extra durable, too, and electric motors for outdoor use are rated to safely work outdoors. And outdoor shades can be cleaned by just hosing them off. You can't say that about indoor shades!
